Let’s grow together.

South East Queensland focused
growth capital fund.

Straight up.

Open-real communication is important to us, this means no corporate jargon or consultant speak. We will be open and transparent with all parties. More

We will be sensible and realistic when it comes to making decisions, taking an appropriate amount of risk, at the appropriate time, for the appropriate opportunities. More

For RoBne to work, we need to be accountable and transparent with investors, portfolio companies and each other in our decision making, this means doing what we say we will. More

Welcome to RoBne Capital

Pronounced robin, like the bird.
Where did our clever name come from? From our Founding Partners, Robbie and Ben, based in BNE and, well, we guess you have it figured out by now.

RoBne Capital is focused on investing in profitable South East Queensland growth companies with up to $5M operating profit. We have assembled a dynamic team to add value to the three scenarios that we help founders work through, back the entrepreneur, buy and build and succession.

Our vision is to be the go-to equity partner for South East Queensland growth companies.

Our Investment Philosophy

Meet the Team

Robbie van Beurden

“My fiancé and I moved to Queensland as unbiased outsiders in 2018. The first thing we learnt here was the exceptional quality of life, arguably one of the best places globally. However, this is not translated in representative local availability of private capital to promising mid-market companies, and that made no sense to me. We want to be part of that change and help great SEQ companies achieve their full potential.”

Ben Coombs

“This is an opportunity to create a legacy of meaningful work for everyone involved to look back on with fond memories across South East Queensland. What motivates us is a win, win, win. A win for our investors by way of returns, a win for the portfolio companies in delivering their business vision, and a win for the people who come along with us for the ride.”

Jennifer Tagney

“I thrive off building relationships with people. As a very social person I knew I always wanted to work in a hybrid business environment where I was able to combine my technical knowledge and people skills. If I can make an impact along the way than that's an added bonus. I am excited to have this opportunity to work with businesses within my home state, and look forward to helping SEQ businesses thrive and succeed on a national and global stage.”
